Dear llr. Fleischaker:
This is in response to your memorandum of September 29, 1981 requesting that the Joint Intervenors Counsel be notified of any meetings held between staff and the licensee to discuss the potential deficiency in the seismic analysis of certain piping systems in the Diablo Canyon Unit 1 containment.
As you are probably already aware the previously announced October 5 meeting between PGSE and the NRC staff has been rescheduled for Friday, October 9, 1981 in the Phillips Building.,
A revised meeting notice will be sent to all parties.
In addition, notification of all parties was made on September 29 and September 30 of information regarding this matter (Board Notifications BN 81-27 and BN 81-28 respectively).
We fully intend to make all reasonable efforts to inform all interested parties of all meetings and will keep all parties informed of any PG5E and staff reports as they become available.
