In accordance with your Memorandum and Order in Pacific Gas and Electric Com an (Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and LAB- 0, Sl p Op.
August 7, 1980),
on August 11, 1980 I sent copies of testimony filed in this Diablo Canyon Appeal Board proceeding relating to the Appendix to ALAB-598 (June 24, 1980) to Dr. J. Enrique Luco and Dr. Mihailo D. Trifunac.
I have also forwarded copies of ALAB-598 and ALAB-604 to Drs. Trifunac and Luco.
The Mstimony sent on August 11 included copies of NRC Staff testimony and testimony filed by the Governor of California.
On August 13, 1980, I sent copies of Joint Intervenors testimony (Testimony of James W. Brune on Behalf of Joint Intervenors Regarding Appeal Board ffuestions 1, 4 (Partial) and 7.)
In addition.
on August ll. 1980, I made arrangements with Counsel for Pacific Gas and Electric Company to forward cppies of its testimony to Dre Luco and Dr. Trifunac.
- Thus, Dr. Luco and Dr. Trifunac have been provided with a full set of testimony filed in this proceeding with respect to the questions raised by the Appeal Board in the Appendix to ALAB-598 (June 24, 1980).
Furthermore, the ACRS is arranging to have Drs. Luco and Trifunac available to testify for the purposes described in the Appeal Board's August 7, 1980 Memorandum and Order (ALAB-606).
