NOTIFICATION The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff (Staff) is filing this notification to inform the Commission and all participants that, on November 30, 2016, the Staff issued an order approving the indirect transfer of the 90 percent interest of Susquehanna Nuclear, LLC in the renewed facility operating licenses for the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station (SSES),
Units 1 and 2, as well as the general license for the SSES Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation, from the current parent holder, Talen Energy Corporation, to Riverstone Holdings LLC. The order is available at Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML16320A078.
