SUBJECT:

SUMMARY

OF MEETING ON JANUARY 31, 1984 WITH DPC TO REVIEW EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION PROGRAM The meeting was held to review the status of open items identified in the NRC letter of April 11, 1983, transmitting the Safety Evaluation and Technical Evaluation for the environmental qualification of safety-related electrical equipment.

DISCUSSION All open items for Oconee 1/2/3 were resolved. An extension of the deadline may be required to allow changeout of a sample line valve on Unit 2 if the scheduled refueling oUtage runs late. This will not be known for a few months.

The Duke submittal documenting the resolution of the open items discussed is tentatively scheduled for March 9, 1984.
