DUKE POWER COMPANY - CRISIS MANAGEMENT PLAN REVIEW We have completed our review of revision 15 of the Duke Power Crisis Management Plan dated April 30, 1985.
Our review indicated that your Crisis Management Plan continues to meet the planning standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to 10 CFR 50.
Please be reminded that 10 CFR 50.54(q) requires NRC approval of any changes to your plan which may decrease the effectiveness of the plan.
However, if your safety review indicates no decrease in emergency preparedness, the changes can be made without NRC approval.
In all cases, you should furnish copies of each change to the NRC in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q).
Also any changes to the Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures should be made in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section V (Implementing Procedures).
