SUMMARY
OF SEPTEMBER 8, 2016, CLOSED MEETING WITH THE U.S.
NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION AND EXELON GENERATION COMPANY, LLC REGARDING PRE-SUBMITTAL OF PHYSICAL SECURITY LICENSING ACTIONS REGARDING DECOMMISSIONING FOR THE OYSTER CREEK NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION On September 8, 2016, a closed meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and representatives of Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon). The meeting was held at NRC Headquarters, Three White Flint North, 11601 Landsdown Street, Rockville, Maryland. The NRC staff noticed the meeting on August 19, 2016 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML16221A615). The purpose of the closed meeting was for the NRC and Exelon to discuss the pre-submittal physical security licensing actions regarding decommissioning at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (Oyster Creek).
The meeting was kicked off with opening remarks by the NRC staff, followed by introductions of the attendees. The discussion of the pre-submittal physical security licensing actions regarding decommissioning at Oyster Creek contained safeguards information.
At this meeting, the NRC staff made no regulatory decisions regarding the merits of the pre-submittal physical security licensing actions regarding decommissioning at Oyster Creek. The meeting was adjourned at 3:00 p.m.
Since this was a closed meeting, members of the public were not in attendance. Public Meeting Feedback forms were not received. A list of attendees is enclosed.
