RESPONSE TO NOTICE OF VIOLATION DATED JUNE 24, 2016 - NEXTERA ENERGY DUANE ARNOLD, LLC
Dear Mr. Vehec:
The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge receipt of the letter from NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC, dated July 21, 2016, in response to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) letter dated June 24, 2016, transmitting a Notice of Violation.
In the July 21, 2016 letter, you identified the corrective actions that your company has taken or plans to take to address the violation. The NRC has reviewed the corrective actions, which appear to be adequate, and has no further questions at this time. The actions NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC has taken, and plans to take, to address the violation may be examined during a future inspection.
