In accordance with MD 8.11, which governs the NRC petition process, I am writing to provide you the periodic update on your 2.206 petition. I would like to inform you that the petition is still under review. On July 20, 2016, the petition review board (PRB) met internally to discuss the NRC staffs resolution of the issues relating to the petition. The PRB continues to evaluate the petition. I will keep you updated on the progress of the petition.
