REQUALIFICATION PROGRAM INSPECTION - REPORT NO. 50-269/94-25
In a telephone conversation on August 8, 1994, David Covar, Nuclear
Instructor, Oconee Nuclear Station, and George Hopper, License Examiner,
Region II Operator Licensing Section, made arrangements for the NRC to inspect
the licensed operator requalification program at the Oconee Nuclear Station.
OThe inspection is planned for your regularly scheduled requalification
examination cycle beginning the week of August 22, 1994. The staff at your
facility should prepare and conduct the requalification examinations in
accordance with your NRC-approved requalification program.
In accordance with 10 CFR 55.59(c), the NRC may request facility licensees to
submit their comprehensive requalification written examinations or annual
operating tests as necessary to support the NRC's inspection program needs.
In order for the NRC to adequately prepare for this inspection, please furnish
the operating tests scheduled for the week of the inspection to the NRC by
August 17, 1994.
The request for requalification examination material is covered by Office of
Management and Budget (0MB) Clearance Number 3150-0101, which expires on
October 31, 1995. The estimated average burden is 4.0 hours0 days <br />0 hours <br />0 weeks <br />0 months <br /> per response,
including gathering, copying, and mailing the required material.
