DUKE TOPICAL ASSURANCE PROGRAM This refers to your letter to this office dated September 25, 1984, which trans mitted Amendment Eight of the Duke Power Company Topical Quality Assurance (QA)
Program description (DUKE-1-A) in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(a) and 50.55(f).
This amendment involved several organizational changes and clarification of various parts of the accepted QA program applicable to the Oconee Station (Docket Nos. 50-269, 50-270 and 50-287), the McGuire Station (Docket Nos. 50-369 and 50-370), and the Catawba Station (Docket Nos. 50-413 and 50-414).
Additional clarification was provided in your letters to this office dated March 1, 1985, and March 29, 1985, in response to questions transmitted to Duke Power Company in our letter dated December 10, 1984. Our review of this infor mation indicates that Amendment Eight of your topical QA program continues to meet the requirements of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and is therefore acceptable.
Please contact us if you have questions concerning this letter. We appreciate your prompt response to our questions regarding the information required by 10 CFR 50.54(a) and 10 CFR 50.55(f).
