TRAINING ASSESSMENT INSPECTION AT OCONEE AND CATAWBA This letter is to inform you of our plans to conduct a special inspection of your training programs at the Oconee Nuclear Station and the Catawba Nuclear Station during the period October 1-12, 1984.
The objective of this inspection is to assess the effectiveness of these programs for supporting licensed activities.
Areas to be inspected are described in the enclosed inspection plan. The inspec tion will be conducted by a six-member team led by Mr.
Dolan Falconer of this office.
Any questions you may have or coordination efforts you would like to clarify should be referred to Mr. Virgil Brownlee of our office.
The team will arrive at your Oconee site on October 1, 1984.
Your cooperation in making your records and staff available to support this inspection will be appreciated.

For each of the areas listed above, the evaluation will include a review of policy documents, procedures, lesson plans, system descriptions, individual training records, and interviews with members of your training and opera tions staff.
