CONFIRMATION OF MEETING ARRANGEMENTS This confirms the telephone conversation between N. A. Rutherford, System Engineer, Licensing, and H. C. Dance of my staff concerning a management meeting at your office in Charlotte, North Carolina on August 9, 1983.
We requested this meeting to review the results of the first phase of our annual appraisal of your regulatory performance. The time of the meeting was established as 2:00 p.m. A proposed agenda is enclosed.
Selected NRC managers have met as a part of the NRC's Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance (SALP) program to discuss your regulatory performance during the period June 1, 1982 through April 30, 1983. The results of this meeting, the SALP Board Assessment, will be forwarded to you approximately one week prior to our meeting.
Should you have any questions regarding these arrangements, we will be pleased to discuss them.
