Thank you for your response of January 10, 1992, to our Notice of Violation
issued on December 13, 1991, concerning activities conducted at your Oconee
facility.
Based on a January 16, 1992, discussion between Mr. M. E. Patrick
and Mr. S. Spear of your staff and Mr. P. E. Harmon of my staff, it is our
understanding that a revised response to Violation Nos..269,270,287/91-31-02
specifically addressing the long term corrective actions to be taken will, be
submitted by February,18, 1992.
We have evaluated your response for Violation Nos. 269,270,287/91-31-01 and
found that it meets the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201.
We will examine the
implementation of your corrective actions during future inspections.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
