Enclosure REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ALTERNATIVE REQUEST PRR-007, REVISION 1 FERMI 2 POWER PLANT DTE ELECTRIC COMPANY DOCKET NUMBER 50-341 (TAC NO. MF7573)

Letter from Keith J. Polson of DTE Electric Company to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Submittal of Revised Relief Request No. PRR-007 for the Inservice Testing Program Third 10-Year Interval dated April 5, 2016 (Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Number ML16097A172).
Request for Additional Information (RAI) EPNB-1 Provide the start date and the scheduled end date for the third 10-year inservice test interval.
RAI EPNB-2 Provide the current classification (Group A or Group B) for each of the pumps associated with this alternative request.
RAI EPNB-3 In order to use the modified Group A test for pumps currently classified as Group B, the Group B pumps must be re-classified as Group A pumps. If any of the pumps associated with this alternative request are currently classified as Group B, please confirm that you reclassifying them as Group A pumps.
RAI EPNB-4 Confirm that you are requesting to use American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) operations manager (OM) Code Case OMN-18 in its entirety, or if there are any exceptions, describe them.
RAI EPNB-5 In Section 1, ASME Code Component(s) Affected, provide the type of pump for each pump (horizontal, vertical line shaft, positive displacement, reciprocating positive displacement).
RAI EPNB-6 Discuss whether or not you are requesting an alternative to ISTB-3400, Frequency of Inservice Tests.
