NRC provided a second round RAI on February 26, 2016. Of the 21 TSTF 4/29/2016 questions, approximately half appear to be repetitive of the first round RAI.

At the July 10, 2014 TSTF/NRC meeting, the NRC stated their schedule for NRC 7/10/2014 reviewing TSTF-542 is:

TSTF-542, Revision 1, and RAI response submitted.

A public meeting discussing the draft RAI was held on November 5. NRC NRC 12/31/2015 provided the RAI on December 3, 2015.

TSTF responded to the RAI on March 14, 2016. TSTF 3/8/2016 NRC to provide the draft safety evaluation. On March 12, 2015, the NRC provided a revised review schedule. NRC 5/8/2015 NRC to provide RAIs 5/8/15 TSTF response 8/6/15 Notice for Comment 1/3/16 Notice of Availability 5/2/16 On a May 7, 2015 teleconference, the TSTF agreed to revise the Traveler in TSTF 6/30/2015 lieu of NRC sending a formal RAI.

TSTF submitted TSTF-551, Revision 1, on September 3, 2015. TSTF 9/3/2015 NRC to provide RAI. Teleconference to discuss RAIs held on 10/19/15. NRC 11/30/2015 On 11/5/15, TSTF agreed to a 45 day response time for the RAI.

RAI provided on 11/18/2015. It included a new review schedule:

Issue Draft Safety Evaluation by May 26, 2016 Issue Final Safety Evaluation by July 23, 2016.

The TSTF responded to the NRC RAI on January 26, 2016. TSTF 1/26/2016 TSTF and NRC held a teleconference to discuss the wording of the TSTF 5/13/2016 proposed SR 3.6.4.1.1 Note. The TSTF agreed to submit a revision to address the staff concerns.
