CRYSTAL RIVER UNIT 3 NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT - EXEMPTION FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF TITLE 10 OF THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS, SECTION 50.54(w)(1) CONCERNING INSURANCE FOR POST-ACCIDENT SITE DECONTAMINATION (TAC NO. L53108)
Dear Mr. Hobbs:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has approved the enclosed exemption from specific requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 50.54(w)(1), for the Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant (CR-3). This action is in response to your application dated December 17, 2015 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML15351A490), requesting an exemption to allow a reduction in onsite insurance for post-accident site decontamination.
A copy of the exemption is enclosed. The exemption has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
