Site: SALEM Emergency Class: NON EMERGENCY "At approximately 0920 EST on December 4th, 2015, an Atlantic Sturgeon was removed from the Salem Unit 1 Circulating Water System (CWS) Intake trash racks at the Salem Generating Station. The Atlantic Sturgeon was alive and was returned to the Delaware River at 1150. Nuclear Environmental Affairs has made a determination that this is a 4 hr.
report to the NRC under RAL 11.8.2.a.
"A report was made by Environmental Licensing to the National Marine Fisheries at 1334 and NJOEP Division of Fish &
Wildlife at 1337.
The licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector and will be notifying the Lower Alloways Creek township.
Notified R1DO(Cook) and NRC Endangered Species group via email.
