NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF THE DRAFT SUPPLEMENT TO FINAL PLANT-SPECIFIC SUPPLEMENT 38 TO THE GENERIC ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT FOR LICENSE RENEWAL OF NUCLEAR PLANTS REGARDING INDIAN POINT NUCLEAR GENERATING UNIT NOS. 2 AND 3
Dear Sir or Madam:
Enclosed are one bound copy and two electronic copies of the draft supplement to the final plant-specific Supplement 38 to NUREG-1437, Generic Environmental Impact Statement for License Renewal of Nuclear Plants (GElS), regarding the renewal of operating licenses DPR-26 and DPR-64 for an additional 20 years of operation for Indian Point Nuclear Generating Unit Nos. 2 and 3.
In conjunction with this letter, the draft supplement to the final Supplement 38 to the GEIS will be submitted to the Environmental Protection Agency via e-NEPA. In addition, copies were mailed or e-mailed to interested Federal and State agencies, industry organizations, interested groups, and members of the public. A copy of this document has also been placed in the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) Public Document Room, One White Flint North, 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland 20852, and in the NRC Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), which is accessible on the NRCs website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The ADAMS accession number is ML15351A422.
