Dear Mr. Hampton:

This letter confirms the conversation between Mr. W. Foster of your staff and Mr. R. Crlenjak of this office on May 29, 1996, concerning a Management meeting to be conducted in the NRC Region II Office (101 Marietta Street, Suite 2900, Atlanta, Georgia) on June 7, 1996, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

We requested this meeting to discuss recent security issues at Oconee. Since this meeting concerns safeguards information, it will be a closed meeting as per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994; 59 FR 48340).

Carroll of this office on May 14, 1996, concerning a Management meeting to be conducted at the Oconee Nuclear Station (Oconee Office Building, Room 316) on June 27, 1996, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance of the Oconee Nuclear Station during the period from October 30, 1994, to May 4, 1996. This will be an open meeting as per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994; 59 FR 48340).
