MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - OCONEE NUCLEAR STATION

Dear Mr. Hampton:

This letter confirms the telephone conversation between yourself and Mr.

P. Harmon of this office on March 20, 1996, concerning a Management meeting to be conducted at the Oconee site on March 22, 1996, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Oconee Unit 3 reactor trip event of March 16, 1996; the results from your investigation of the event; and the restart readiness status of the unit. This will be an open meeting as per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994; 59 FR 48340).
