STATE OUTREACH PROGRAM On March-12,
- 1992, the NRC staff briefed representatives of the State of South Carolina, Pickens and Oconee Counties, and Duke Power Company on the subject program.
The briefing consisted of an overview of the NRC Incident Response Program and a discussion of technical topics related to the Emergency Response Data System, telecommunications, and protective action guides.
An outline of topics discussed is presented in Enclosure 1. A list of attendees is presented in Enclosure 2.
We appreciate Duke Power Company's support and participation in the meeting.
We found this meeting to be very beneficial and promoted a better understanding of the various organization incident response roles.
