TRANSCRIPT OF JANUARY 31, 1990 MEETING Enclosed is the transcript of the meeting held between you and members of your staff and Messrs. Stewart Ebneter and James Lieberman and other members of the NRC staff on January 31, 1990 at the Catawba Nuclear Station facilities. The transcript is in two parts. The first part concerns the civil penalty proposed for the violations involving the inoperable auxiliary feedwater pump at Catawba (EA 89-178). The second part concerns the civil penalty proposed for security violations at McGuire, Oconee, and Catawba (EA 89-151).
Since the second part of the transcript deals with the security systems at each of the plants, it was reviewed to determine whether any Sensitive Unclassified Safeguards Information was discussed and included in the transcript. This review discovered no such sensitive information and therefore the transcript does not require special handling.
