By Reference 1, Indiana Michigan Power Company (I&M), the licensee for Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant (CNP) Units 1 and 2, requested U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) authorization for approval of the 10 CFR 50.55a relief requests associated with the Fifth Inservice Testing Interval for CNP. The NRC staff provided a request for supplemental information (Reference 2) to complete the review of Reference 1.
This letter is being submitted as a supplement to Reference 1 to correct an incorrect reference to the applicable 10 CER 50.55a paragraph in Relief Request REL-PPI.
I&M's initial submittal.
(Reference 1) identified Relief Request REL-PP1 as being requested under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.55a(z)(1), which was incorrect.
Relief Request REL-PP1 is being requested under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.55a(z)(2).
Additionally, Enclosure 2 of Reference 1 incorrectly identified Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML061730715 as a precedent for REL-PPI. The correct ADAMS No. is ML061730175.
I&M requests approval of the relief requests prior to the start of the Fifth 10-Year Test Interval, which will begin July 1, 2016.
