Dear Mr. Tucker:
In your letter to Mr. Harold R. Denton dated March 31, 1983 you requested a meeting with the NRC staff to discuss the staff's position as stated in the McGuire Nuclear Station Safety Evaluation Report (SER) Supplement 6.
Additionally, you were informed via my letter to you dated April 28, 1983 transmitting the SER for the Oconee Standby Shutdown Facility (SSF) that an appeals meeting would include the process monitoring instruments for the Oconee plants as well.
In response to your request, the NRC staff proposes to conduct the meeting on June 8, 1983 from 10:00 am to 12 noon in Room P-114 of the Phillips Building, Bethesda, Maryland. The meeting will be conducted by Messrs.
Mattson, Lainas affdN6vak.
Should you have any questions pertaining to the scheduling or topics of this meeting, you are requested to contact the McGuire Project Manager, Mr. Ralph Birkel (492-8408), or the Oconee Project Manager, Mr. John Suermann (492-7471), as appropriate.
