OCONEE NUCLEAR STATION UNITS 1, 2 AND 3 (TAC NOS. M85578, M85579, AND M85580) AND CATAWBA NUCLEAR STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 (TAC NOS. M85533 AND M85534)
By letter dated March 22, 1993, you provided the Duke Power Company's response to the subject Generic Letter (GL) for the Oconee and Catawba stations. Your response confirmed your previous letter dated July 22, 1992, which responded to NRC Bulletin 92-01, "Failure of Thermo-Lag 330 Fire Barrier System to Maintain Cabling in Wide Cable Trays and Small Conduits Free From Fire Damage," indicating that Thermo-Lag 330-1 is not used at the Oconee Nuclear Station, Units 1, 2, and 3, or at the Catawba Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2. Your confirmation provides an adequate basis to consider NRC's action complete for these stations. Therefore, TAC Nos. M85578, M85579, M85580, M85533, and M85534 are, hereby,.closed.
