Purpose:

The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will meet with the public to discuss the NRCs assessment of safety performance at Seabrook for 2014. The NRC will respond to questions on specific performance issues at the plant and our role in ensuring safe plant operations.

NRC Attendees: J. Trapp, Deputy Director, Division of Reactor Safety, Region I G. Dentel, Chief, Division of Reactor Projects, Branch 3, Region I M. Gray, Chief, Division of Reactor Safety, Engineering Branch 1, Region I A. Buford, Structural Engineer, Aging Management of Structures, Electrical and Systems Branch, Division of License Renewal, Nuclear Reactor Regulation W. Cook, Senior Reactor Analyst, Division of Reactor Safety, Region I P. Cataldo, Senior Resident Inspector, Seabrook, Region I C. Newport, Resident Inspector, Seabrook, Region I Public Participation: This is a Category 3 Meeting. The NRC will host a 1-hour Open House before the meeting, as well as a question and answer session, to discuss NextEras performance at Seabrook during 2014. NRC staff will be available, in an informational setting, to answer questions from members of the public and discuss issues or concerns related to Seabrook during the Open House.
