Turkey Point Ultimate Heat Sink Temperature - Notice in the Newspapers Hi Cindy, The NRC published a public notice in the Miami Herald and the Key West Citizen newspapers this weekend (Sunday and Monday). The purpose of the notice was to notify the public that Turkey Point expanded the scope of its amendment request (it proposed to increase the frequency of a surveillance requirement) and to give the public an opportunity to provide comments to the NRC through August 5, 2014.

The notice can be found in NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML14211A266.

The NRC is not intending to issue a press release when we issue the amendments. I will notify you prior to the NRC issuing the amendments.
