SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-269/96-20, 50-270/96-20,
AND 50-287/96-20
Dear Mr. Hampton:
Thank you for your response of February 26, 1997, to our Notice of Violation
issued on January 27, 1997, concerning activities conducted at your Oconee
facility. We have evaluated your response to Violations 50-270,287/96-17-06
and 50-269,270,287/96-17-02, and found that it meets the requirements of
10 CFR 2.201. We will examine the implementation of your corrective action
during future inspections. With regard to Violation 50-269/96-17-09, we
understand that the results of your root cause investigation and corresponding
corrective actions will be submitted by March 12. 1997.
