This letter is the report required by 10 CFR 50.54(w)(3). The following Nuclear Property and Decontamination Liability Insurance will be in effect for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station on the April 1, 2015 policy renewal date:
Policy (Amount)
Primary Property and Decontamination Liability Insurance Policy
($1,500 million)
Decontamination Liability, Decommissioning Liability and Excess Property Insurance Policy
($1,250 million)
Source Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited (NEIL Primary)
Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited (NEIL II)
All policies providing coverage mentioned above comply with 10 CFR 50.54(w), including provisions for the insurance proceeds to be prioritized for dedicated reactor stabilization/safety and then for decontamination of the site.
