Watts Bar GL 2004 EMCB RAI-1 In Reference 2, the licensee summarizes the design inputs and structural qualification for the WBN sump strainers. In that submittal, the licensee notes the strainer is designed for a differential pressure of 3.5 feet of water. In the Strainer Structural Qualification section of of Reference 3, the licensee states that the strainer is qualified using an input pressure load of 6.0 feet and that the most limiting component of the strainer will remain qualified up to 6.5 feet. However, no updated supporting information (such as design inputs and interaction ratios) are provided to support this updated pressure value.
Provide an updated response to items 3.k.1 and 3.k.2 from Reference 1 that reflects the updated pressure value, or explain why the previously submitted information remains valid for the new pressure value.
