Southern Company Letter dated March 13, 2015 related to Farley USACE support
- John, By letter dated March 13, 2015, Southern Company providing LiDAR data to the NRC as discussed during the meeting on April 9, 2015 in Mobile. On page 2 of that letter Southern stated that SNC requested an inundation polygon, water surface grid and depth grid representing the Chattahoochee River controlling PMF scenario at the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant site. The requested extents for that data are River Mile 35 to River Mile 55 on the Chattahoochee River.
The NRC plans to provide the requested information, but not at the mile markers requested. The NRC staff plans to provide the requested information between mile markers 35 and 46 (as opposed to 35 and 55). If Southern would like to discuss this further please let me know.
