License Amendment Request (LAR)

Provide LAR scope Discuss schedule for the LAR and implementation Capture NRC Insights 2

Change to the administrative section of the Technical Specifications (TS 6.8.3.j) i.e. ILRT Section currently states that the program shall be in accordance with the guidelines contained in Regulatory Guide 1.163.

STPs Appendix J Program is currently committed to NEI 94-01, Revision 0 The proposed change will state that the program shall be in accordance with NEI 94-01, Revision 2A, "Industry Guideline for Implementing Performance-Based Option of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix J," October 2008 LAR will extend the ILRT performance interval from 10 to every 15 years (No change to Type B or Type C intervals).

Change will be using NEI 94-01 Rev. 2A as guidance for this LAR Justification of extending test intervals is based on the performance history and risk insights.

We will be leveraging recent submittals from other licensees to gain insights for a streamlined submittal (i.e. Information Notices, RAIs, industry feedback, and other LARs) 4

Submittal of the LAR scheduled tentatively for March 28, 2015 Requested NRC approval date: March 31, 2016 5
