The application included the license renewal application (LRA) and LRA Appendix E, "Applicant's Environmental Report -Operating License Renewal Stage." As required by 10 CFR 54.21(b), each year following submittal of the LRA, an update to the LRA must be submitted that identifies any change to the current licensing basis that materially affects the contents of the LRA, including the Final Safety Analysis Report Supplement.
This 10 CFR 54.21(b) update covers the period from October 1, 2013, through September 30, 2014, and provides information necessary to complete the NRC safety review as requested in NRC letter, "Summary of June 5, 2014, Conference Call to Discuss the Status of the License Renewal Application Review of the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2," dated July 3, 2014.Enclosure 1 identifies DCPP LRA changes that are being made pursuant to 10 CFR 54.21(b), the subject of the change, and a reference to the attachment where further bases and applicable LRA mark-ups may be found. Enclosure 1 addressed the draft LR-ISG-2013-01.
The final LR-ISG-2013-01 was issued on November 14, 2014. PG&E will evaluate and submit an updated response to LR-ISG-2013-01, which is currently scheduled for February 2015.A member of the STARS (Strategic Teaming and Resource Sharing) Alliance Catlaway .Comanche Peak

LRA Appendix E, Chapter 7, "Alternatives to the Proposed Action," Chapter 8, "Comparison of Environmental Impacts of License Renewal With the Alternatives," Section 9.2,"Alternatives," and Attachment F, "Severe Accident Mitigation Alternatives," are currently scheduled to be submitted to the NRC by February 2015. PG&E is in the process of addressing Coastal Consistency Certification comments on the original Coastal Consistency Certification (Attachment E). A schedule for potential coastal consistency review will be established and provided when available.
PG&E makes new regulatory commitments and changes to existing commitments (as defined by NEI 99-04) in this letter.
