DPR-42 and DPR-60 Fifth Ten-Year Interval Inservice Testing Program Pursuant to the guidance of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers OM Code, 2004 Edition, 2006 Addenda, Code for Operation and Maintenance of Nuclear Power Plants, Section ISTA-3200(a), Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota corporation, doing business as Xcel Energy (hereafter "NSPM"), hereby submits for NRC information the Fifth Ten-Year Interval Inservice Testing (IST) Program for the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant (PINGP), Units 1 and 2. The PINGP fifth ten-year IST interval begins December 21, 2014.

The Fifth Ten-Year IST Program is Enclosure 1 to this letter. The supporting piping and instrumentation diagrams for Units 1 and 2 are provided as Enclosures 2 and 3 to this letter, respectively.

By letter dated April 9, 2014 (ML14099A283), NSPM submitted 10 CFR 50.55a requests associated with the fifth ten-year IST interval. Future 10 CFR 50.55a requests will be submitted as the need occurs.
