Nuclear Regulatory Commission FR:

Ed Fawcett, President/CEO Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce RE:

San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) Post-Shutdown Public Hearing

Dear Commissioners:

With Southern California Edison's shutdown of SONGS, it is my understanding that SCE plans to use local area staffing sources wherever possible. As President/CEO of the Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce I commend and encourage SCE to make every attempt to fulfill this intent to hire locally in order to help support the local community.

Additionally, on behalf of local businesses, I wish to thank SCE for making this a priority component of SCE's decommissioning plan. Doing so will be a significant and positive impact on the local economy.

Sincerely, Ed Fawcett President/CEO SUNSI Review Complete Template = ADM - 013 E-RIDS= ADM-03 Add=~7q e&"V4ý C7t3-A.-)---
