Lesser, and the resident inspectors to gain a better understanding of the flood inundation issues currently being evaluated. Meet with site management and resident inspectors to discuss current issues. Tour site with resident inspectors to better understand the status of plant mods and the licensee's approach to the Fukushima mitigating strategies.
Eddy Crowe - SRI Natasha Childs - RI Greg Croon - RI None None Licensee indicated that their communications with the NRC have been open and transparent. They were appreciative of the NRC executives interest in hearing and seeing first-hand, the design of the Jocassee dam and the flood evaluations associated with its failure.
Scott Batson indicated that they are contracting for testing of cables in response to the URI identified in a previous CDBI inspection.
The test results, they felt, would be helpful to those working to resolve the open TIA on this issue.
