Technical Specification Task Force Traveler TSTF-425, Revision 3,"Relocate Surveillance Frequencies to Licensee Control-Risk Informed Technical Specification Task Force Initiative, " dated July 06, 2009.In accordance with the provisions of Section 50.90 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), PPL Susquehanna, LLC (PPL) is submitting a request for an amendment to the Technical Specifications (TS) for Susquehanna Steam Electric Station (SSES) Units 1 and 2.The proposed amendment would modify the TS by relocating specific surveillance frequencies to a licensee-controlled program with the implementation of Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 04-10, "Risk-Informed Technical Specification Initiative 5B, Risk-Informed Method for Control of Surveillance Frequencies." Attachment 1 provides an evaluation of the proposed changes, a description of the proposed change, the requested confirmation of applicability, and No Significant Hazards Consideration.

Attachment 2 provides documentation of PRA technical adequacy.Attachment 3 provides the existing TS pages marked up to show the proposed changes.Attachment 4 provides the existing TS Bases pages marked up to show the proposed changes. Document Control Desk PLA-7119 PPL requests approval of the proposed license amendment by March 31, 2015, with the amendment being implemented within 180 days.In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91, Notice for Public Comment; State Consultation, a copy of this application, with attachments, is provided to the designated Pennsylvania Official.This letter does not contain any regulatory commitments.
