Letter from Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota corporation (NSPM),
d/b/a Xcel Energy to Document Control Desk, "Request for Review and Approval of Northern States Power Company Quality Assurance Topical Report", dated October 31, 2014 (ADAMS Accession ML14304A353).
On October 31, 2014, NSPM submitted a revision to the Quality Assurance Topical Report (QATR) for review and approval in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(a)(4) (Reference). The proposed change revises previously submitted requirements related to the conduct of Independent Assessments. Specifically, this change divides the Independent Assessment function of the Nuclear Oversight (NOS) organization into two distinct functions: Independent Audits and Independent Assessments.
To aid to the staff's review of the QATR revision, a redline/strikeout version of the QATR is enclosed.
Summary of Commitments This letter makes no new commitments and no revisions to existing commitments.
