1996 U. S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) TRAINING MANAGERS'CONFERENCE
Dear Mr. Hinnant:
Region II will host its annual Training Managers' Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 1996, and from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Thursday, November 21, 1996. The conference is designed to inform regional operations and training management of issues and policies that affect the licensing of reactor plant operators. This year we will concentrate on recent issues and developments concerning the extended pilot examination process. I would like to extend an invitation to you, and to members of your operations and training staff, to attend this conference. Our goal for the meeting is to provide an open forum for discussion of Operator Licensing issues. The site for this year's conference will be the Richard B. Russell Federal Building on Spring Street in downtown Atlanta. A map of the area is enclosed for your convenience. As of this date, the agenda is open. We encourage you to submit, via telephone, a list of topics which you would like to have discussed. We look forward to meeting with you in November.
