Dear Mr. Chiarella:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has reviewed your essential fish habitat (EFH) conservation recommendation in the email dated August 13, 2014 (NMFS 2014). Your recommendation responded to the NRCs EFH Assessment for the proposed license renewal of Limerick Generating Station, Units 1 and 2 (Limerick). The purpose of this letter is to respond to your EFH conservation recommendation.

NMFS Conservation Recommendation #1 Avoid in-water maintenance work from March 1 to June 30 of each year to minimize adverse effects on migrating and spawning activities of anadromous fish.

NRC Response to Conservation Recommendation #1 The NRC staff will forward this conservation recommendation to Exelon Generation Company, LLC, the owner and operator of Limerick.
