SUBJECT:

Withdrawal of License Amendment Request (LAR) 13-01 The Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) hereby withdraws LAR 13-01 (Reference 1), which proposed to revise Technical Specifications 2.0.1 and 2.7 for inoperable systems, subsystems or components due to inoperable power sources. References 2 and 3 are an NRC Request for Additional Information and OPPD's response thereto respectively.

On June 24, 2014, as noticed in Reference 4, personnel from OPPD and the NRC participated in a public teleconference to discuss the changes proposed by LAR 13-01 . As a result of the teleconference, OPPD is withdrawing LAR 13-01 and will resubmit another LAR to address the issues raised during the teleconference. That submittal is tracked in the corrective action program (CR 2012-04505).

No commitments to the NRC are made in this letter.
