McGuire Nuclear Station, Unit 2 Docket Number 50-370 Fourth Inservice Inspection (ISI) Interval Plan and Pressure Test Plan Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.55a(g)(4), Duke Energy submits the Fourth Interval ISI Plan and the Fourth Interval ISI Pressure Test Plan for McGuire Unit 2. The plans have been developed in accordance with the requirements of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,Section XI, 2007 Edition with the 2008 Addenda, as modified by 10 CFR 50.55a conditions, ASME Section XI Code Cases, and Relief Requests. One Relief Request (13-MN-002) associated with Section XI Code Case N-716 deals with risk-informed ISI and is pending NRC approval.
The McGuire Unit 2 ISI Plans for the Fourth Interval exclude requirements for examination of Class MC components and steam generator tubing, which are maintained under separate programs.
