In furtherance of an NRC Office of Investigations (01) inquiry, it is requested that you review your records to verify whether your facility procured electrical components and/or parts from Planned Maintenance Systems, Inc. (PMS) of Mount Vernon, Illinois. This firm is the subject of NRC Information Notice Number 88-19, issued on April 26, 1988.

Please respond in writing within 30 days of receipt of this letter as to whether or not your facility purchased items from PMS from July 1, 1985, to the present time. If you determine that parts and/or components were purchased from PMS, please forward copies of all purchase documents, certificates, records of payment, and any other written correspondence or documentation concerning these procurements to our OI:Region IV office as follows:
