STATUS OF THIRD SAFETY INJECTION (SI) PUMP, H. B. ROBINSON.STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT, UNIT NO. 2 By letter dated January 3, 1992, your staff informed us of the schedule for delivery of two new SI pump casings. They also confirmed that the third SI pump is scheduled to be reinstalled during the Refueling Outage 15, currently scheduled for late 1993, or at the first cold shutdown outage of sufficient duration for the reinstallation following delivery of the pump casings and pump internals. During a telephone conversation, we were informed that a cold shutdown exceeding two weeks would be sufficient for the reinstallation.
We understand the schedule above to represent your best effort on the reinstallation of the third SI pump as you committed to during our meeting on May 30, 1991.
Please inform Mr. Ronnie Lo at (301) 504-1457 if the schedule changes.
