Dear Mr. Habermeyer:

This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Rod Krich of your organization and myself on April 14, 1997. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss your Corporate Nuclear Engineering Department reorganization and Brunswick Steam Electric Plant personnel will discuss status of Engineering issues.

The meeting has been scheduled for May 30, 1997, from 10:00 a.m.

12:00 noon.

The location of the meeting will be at the NRC Region II Office, 61 Forsyth Street, SE, in Atlanta Georgia. The meeting will be held in the DRP/DRS Conference Room 24T25 which is located on the 24th floor.

The meeting is an open meeting as per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994; 59 FR 48340).
