Christensen of my staff on September 8, 1992, concerning an Enforcement Conference to be conducted at the Region II Office, Atlanta, Georgia on September 30, 1992, at 10:00 a.m. We requested this meeting to discuss recent safety injection pump inoperability events at your H. B. Robinson facility. A proposed meeting agenda is enclosed.

C. R. Dietz Pump Inoperability Events As They Relate To:
The apparent failure to implement cleanliness requirements, resulting in the B SI pump being declared inoperable on July 8, 1992, due to foreign material blocking the pump's recirculation line.
The apparent failure to take proper corrective actions following the July 8, 1992 event, resulting in the B SI pump being declared inoperable once again on August 24, 1992, due to foreign material.
