ROBINSON STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT, UNIT NO. 2, AND THE WESTINGHOUSE OWNERS GROUP (WOG) INTEGRATED PROGRAM FOR ASSESSMENT OF WESTINGHOUSE-DESIGNED VESSEL HEAD PENETRATION NOZZLES - REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF RESPONSE TIME TO JANUARY 31, 1999

This refers to our earlier letter dated September 14, 1998, for response to Generic Letter (GL) 97-01 and your recent request for extension of time for the above response. NRC staff had discussed the request in a recent meeting held on September 28, 1998, to allow individual licensees addtitional time to respond.
This request was discussed with Mr. Albert Garrou of your staff on November 19, 1998, and an extension of time for response to the Request for Additional Information to January 31, 1999, is being allowed for H. B. Robinson, Unit 2.
