Gentlemen:
SUBJECT: H. B. ROBINSON STEAM ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT INITIAL EXAMINATION
REPORT - 50-261/92-300
This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission administered examinations
conducted by Ronald F. Aiello during the week of July 20, 1992. These
examinations were administered to employees of your company who had applied
for licenses to operate your H. B. Robinson Steam Electric Generating Plant.
At the conclusion of the examination, the examination questions and
preliminary findings were discussed with those members of your staff
identified in the examination report, Enclosure 1.
A Simulator Fidelity Report is included in this report as Enclosure 2.
A copy of the Facility Comments regarding the written examination is included
in this report as Enclosure 3. The NRC Resolution of the Facility Comments is
included as Enclosure 4. A copy of the written examination questions and
answer key, as noted in Enclosure 5, was provided to members of the facility's
training staff at the conclusion of the exam.
On the 1989 Generic Fundamentals Exam Section (GFES), eight of eight (100
percent) candidates passed. On the 1990 GFES, two of two (100 percent)
candidates passed. On the 1991 GFES, one of one candidate (100 percent)
passed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
