SUBJECT:

NRC CONFIRMATORY MEASUREMENTS PROGRAM As part of the NRC Confirmatory Measurements Program, liquid samples spiked with beta emitting radionuclides were recently sent to the Robinson facility for radiochemical analyses. These samples are to be analyzed for tritium, iron-55, strontium-89, and strontium-90 concentrations in accordance with your approved procedures for analysis of liquid waste samples. If routine analyses of this type are normally performed by a vendor, your vendor should be used to analyze the spike samples.

We request that the analyses be completed as soon as practicable, but no later than 60 days from receipt of this letter. Results should be sent to U. S.
