Hi Olga, The NRC staff is requesting the following clarification to the licensees response to RAI 2a (letter dated February 19, 2014):
The NRC staff understands that 58 tubes were identified with a low voltage U-bend offset. 57 are in high rows and one is in the low rows. The 57 high row tubes are considered -2 sigma tubes.
Regarding the one tube in the low rows, does this tube have a low voltage offset, or does it have a large offset (similar to what was observed at Seabrook)? Given the stress relief of the U-bends in the low rows, a low/non-existent offset is what is expected.
